Being offered for sale is this fabulous Federal Mahogany Folding Game / Console Table with acanthus carvings and paw feet circa 1880. This fine 19th century table is in excellent antique condition with no breaks or repairs noted. This table features a solid mahogany top,conforming table apron with a substantial ring turned center pedestal which rests on a quadripartite base, with four carved paw feet with acanthus carvings at the ankles, with its original brass casters intact on all four feet.

This table measures 30 inches in height from the floor to the top,35 1/2 inches by 18 inches folded closed, opened up the top measures 35 3/4 inches in height by 35 1/2 inches deep and is 29 1/4 inches in height, and this table weighs approximately 50 lbs.

We believe this table to have its original finish and does show some surface scratches and character marks on the top from years of usage that comes with pieces of its age. This fine mahogany table offers classic and timeless style and elegance and is ready to be placed in your home.
