~Victorian Pierced Carved Walnut Mirrored Etagere circa 1875~
I am pleased to offer for sale this spectacular Victorian Walnut Pierced Carved Mirrored Etagere circa 1875. If you are a lover of the beautiful elegance of the Victorian period and are in search for a stunning display piece you will positively love this etagere. This measures a total height of 70 in (5 ft 10 in) a total width of 39 1/2 inches and a total depth at the deepest portion of 15 inches, and the approximate weight of this piece is 50 lbs.
Three original oval mirrors at the back are each encased with fancy open carvings, (there is a small separation at one area of the open carvings which I have shown in a close up picture and does not affect the integrity of this piece at all) and each display shelf is supported with ornate open carved scroll arm supports,the the bottom display shelf having a pierced carved pediment at the back. . Just a stunning example of an elegant Victorian display piece from the 19th century that has a beautiful presence all of its own and a must have display piece to add that finishing touch to a true Victorian decor.
