Being offered for sale is this fantastic Pierced Carved Victorian Eastlake Walnut & Burl Walnut Marble Top Hall Tree Stand with its original Iron Drip Pans circa 1880. This splendid hall tree features fabulous pierced carvings, burl walnut accents, brass hat / coat hooks, its original marble top and the original fancy iron drip pans that are each embossed on the inside" S.F.Co.Cin.O"
This fine 19th century hall tree measures 78 3/4 inches in height from the floor to the very top, height from the floor to the top of the marble measures 27 3/4 inches, with a total width of 37 inches and a total depth at the base of 11 inches and this hall tree weighs approximately 70 lbs. The mirror measures 19 1/4 inches by 11 inches and the marble measures 14 inches wide by 10 1/4 inches deep. Each of the iron drip pans measures 6 1/2 inches by 7 1/2 inches.
This lovely hall tree stand offers 6 double brass hat coat hooks perfect for hanging those jackets, coats, purses and hats, the 2 in the middle are a little different and may be vintage replacements. The original mirror does show some spotting as age appropriate and common with old mirrors. The original marble has no chips or cracks and rests above a single storage drawer with dove-tailed ends and the original brass & ebony tear-drop pull, walnut umbrella arms flank the marble and the iron drip pans below keep those wet umbrellas off the floor.
This Victorian Eastlake hall tree is a great size and would be a fine addition to an entry way or foyer to keep those jackets,coats and umbrellas handy with charm and elegance of a by gone era.
