~Spectacular Large Victorian Carved Walnut Oval Marble Top Parlor Center Table c1875~     

     I am pleased to offer for sale this Spectacular Victorian Walnut Oval Marble Top Lamp Parlor Center Table circa 1875. This elegant Victorian table measures 30 inches high, 35 1/2 inches wide and 26 inches deep and weighs approximately 75 lbs. We believe this table to have its original finish and the original porcelain casters intact on all four feet. The details on this early table are just positively wonderful!

     The white and grey veined beveled edge oval marble top is original and is in wonderful antique condition with only some light stains and character marks as common with old marble.The marble rests on a detailed carved walnut conforming table apron, and the table is raise up on four wide out-swept upper and lower legs with a substantial ring turned walnut pedestal at the center with a center drop finial. Ring turned spindles join the upper legs to the lower legs with the original porcelain casters intact on all four feet.This 19th century table is quality made, solid and sturdy with elegant details and no breaks or repairs we can find....wonderful antique condition with some wear to the old finish as to be expected with age.
