~Victorian Renaissance Revival Carved Fruit & Nut Parlor Arm Chair c1875~ Being presented for sale is this Lovely Victorian Renaissance Revival Walnut Carved Fruit & Nut Parlor Chair circa 1875. The detailed carvings of fruit, nuts, foliate on the chair's crest-rail are beautiful! This fine Victorian chair measures a total height at the back of 42 1/4 inches, width arm to arm is 24 1/2 inches, with a seat width of 20 inches,seat depth of 22 1/2 inches, and seat height of 16 inches and weighs approximately 30 lbs. The newer replacement flame stitch fabric with matching gimp trim is in excellent condition with no issues we can find. We believe this chair to have the original brass casters on all four feet. There is small metal older braces up under the covered arm portions that appear to have been added some time ago and offer strength and support to the arms and cannot be seen unless you turn the chair over. This lovely Victorian Arm Chair circa 1875 is very solid and sturdy and has a wonderful presence all of its own and would be a great addition to your Victorian Decor in your home.
