~Charming Art Nouveau Painted Wrought Iron Needlepoint Top Window Bench with Rose c1920's~

     Being presented for sale is this splendid Art Nouveau Original Painted Finish Fancy Wrought Iron Needlepoint Top Window Bench circa 1920's. This lovely window bench measures 17 inches in height,31 inches wide and 13 inches deep and weighs approximately 21 lbs. The fancy iron base incorporates graceful designs with curved shapes and twists and the painted metal rose with leaves at the enter of the stretcher is just beautiful! The needlepoint top is also original and boasts of a flower basket pedipoint design as the center medallion with scrolls, flowers and leaves surrounding the center. The needlepoint does show some wear on the bench sides and could use a gentle cleaning if one so desires, but the needlepoint has no holes, tears or rips. We believe the painted finish on the fancy iron base to be original and has beautiful aged patina, and one end of the bench is missing the applied flowers that appear to have been missing for a great while. This sweet window bench is very solid and sturdy; what a lovely piece this would be in just about any room of your home and would compliment just about any decor. A fantastic find for that shabby chic, cottage decor or an adorable bench for a sun-room.  Please view and examine the pictures as part of the description and ask all questions and concerns before purchase.  All NC residents must pay 6.75% state sales tax.
