The energy that flows reminds some of molten lava. Every time you study this piece you see more and more. Even I as the painter can't take my eyes off it. It's above my mantle until you are ready to enjoy it. Don't let this one get away. The element of fire is as life saving as it is life destroying. The "fire" and represent anything. Similar to life what you see in an art piece can change day by day or minute by minute. ** Stretched Wrapped Canvas. The staples-free sides of the canvas are painted. No need to frame it - just hang it. A final varnish is applied to protect the painting's surface. Karen has been creating artwork for over 28 years. Her subjects are very diverse. She's painted realism, impressionism, pop art and abstract expressionism. She has a B. A. Degree in Fine Arts from Carson Newman College. Similar to her life she loves to see where her artwork will take her next! While she is a very prolific painter, her work is NOT mass produced. Every aspect of her work is worked on only by her. No students or assistants touch her canvas paintings. Beware:  * some artwork is produced in factories.  * other artworks by "famous" or "popular" artist have apprentices (students) working on their art (unethical in my opinion).
