Adapted from an antique Pennsylvania dresser, circa 1760, this handsome mahogany cupboard features clean architectural lines. It provides ample display and storage space with two adjustable shelves in each section. The shelves in the upper section are grooved to hold plates. The lower section also has two drawers with a four-drawer effect. One of the drawers is lined and partitioned for silver. Beautiful in a breakfast room or in a dining room to hold china as originally designed, this cupboard's use can be updated by converting the upper section to hold a flat screen TV simply by removing its shelves.
