Description: It is an original antique copper engraved print over 265 years old, the plate marks are clearly embossed around the margin. It was published in 1745 edition of Thomas Astley A New General collection of Voyages and Travels... It is being sold as a single sheet, not mounted nor framed.
Size: The image area measures approximately 5 1/2 by 8 1/2 inches on a 9 1/2 by 15 1/2" page with a nice wide margin all around as seen in the pic.
Condition: The print is in Good condition for its age, blank on the reverse, basically as seen in the pic. The outer edges have a lot of wear on them, but the paper is very strong and pliable, not brittle, and a couple of minor soft creases, otherwise the print image area is very clean and would frame up nicely, see the pic for more on condition. The pics are of the actual print.
