Description: It is an original antique copper engraved print with handcoloring and embossed plate marks around the margins. It is from Curtis's Botanical Magazine: Or Flower Garden Display published by the Royal Botanical Gardens at Kew. It has a copyright "Pub. by S. Curtis, Walworth, July 1, 1812" and designed by "Syd [Sydenham] S. Edwards" stated in the bottom left. Many plants were first presented to the public through this famous publication. The print is not mounted nor matted, being sold as a single sheet as seen in the first pic. We are only selling the Print with no text pages. Overall, a beautiful print that will frame up nicely!
Size: The page measures approximately 5 1/2 by 9" page as seen in the pic.
Condition: The print is in Fair condition for its age with overall light tonal ageing and some backprinting as seen. The Copyright text is faded as seen in the pics. It is an original copper plate print with the plate marks embossed in the margins and original hand coloring of the period. There is a plate number in the upper corner and a light handwritten number in the very top corner. Overall it is clean, but please see the pic for more detail of any spots or browning, which are very accurate of the actual condition.

Shipping: $2 for First Class or 4.95 for Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation in the USA. $2 First Class International to Canada. International. Elsewhere in the world add $3 for First Class or $12.80 for Priority International, which includes Paypal insurance. We ship daily, so if still bidding send us a quick email to hold or better just pay all at once at the end.
Shipping to Italy: An additional $10.80 for Registration plus $3 shipping is required for all shipments to Italy.
Save on Shipping: We only charge one shipping fee based on the largest map or print with multiple items shipped along with it for no extra costs. Purchase 5 or more maps or prints and receive Free First Class shipping in USA or First Class International or Reduced Priority International.
Insurance rates: For the USA we recommended and offer optional low insurance of $1.70 for up $50, $2.15 up to $100 and $2.60 up to $200, etc... International registration is an additional $10.80 and may be required for items of high value. Insurance is encouraged: without it we will not be responsible once item is shipped. Most USA and International Priority shipments are now covered byPaypal, so check your Paypal terms for more information.
International Customs and VAT Fees. It is the responsibility of the buyer to pay all Customs Taxes, VAT or other fees that may be due upon arrival. Please consult your country's Customs Regulations for more details on your country and be prepared to pay these additional fees upon arrival. Delays by Customs: Although most items arrive at their destination very quickly, we have no control over how long it takes an item to move through Customs, which can be held for up to six weeks.
