Description: The listing is for two antique prints on separate pages demonstrating Captain Mamby's rescue device for ships wrecked near shore by shooting a rope from a cannon and then sending a boat across. They are original antique engraved prints over 195 years old from a 1813 edtion of Barclay's Dictionary published by Brightly in 1813, a copy of the title page is included. They are not matted nor framed.
Size: Each print area measures approximately 5 x 7 inches and is on a page measuring 7 1/2 x 10 1/2 (19x26cm)
Condition: The prints are in Fair to Good condition for its age, blank on the reverse, basically as seen in the pic. There is some darkening and wear around the edges, couple of short edge tears and a couple of spots in the margins, otherwise the images are very clean with a nice strong impression that would frame up well, see the pic for more on condition. The pics are of the actual print.
