Title: A Bird's Eye View of Paris from the Roof of St. Gervais
Description: It is an original antique woodcut print on paper approxiamtely 140 years old with a centerfold as issued. It is from the British newspaper The Graphic. There is text on the reverse, with a column on Paris The name of the newspaper is also on the reverse in the top center with the date of Oct. 8, 1870 in the upper left margin. A nice dark impression on a heavy page.
Size: The image area measures approximately 12 by 20 inches on a 16 by 24" page with a margin all around as seen in the pic.
Condition: The print is in Good or better condition for its age, printed on quality paper, basically as seen in the pic. There are a couple of binding pinholes along the fold in the top and bottom margin and a couple of inch edge tear in the left and right margins. There is a little of the embossed text noticeable in the left margin, otherwise the print image is very clean and would frame up nicely. Disregard the brown tone along the fold which is only shadow. The pics are of the actual sheet.
