Description: It is an original antique xylograph print (colored wood engraving) on paper over 135 years old. It is from David Wooster's Alpine Flowers, (London: Bell & Daldy, 1872-3), basically printed with multiple engraved wood blocks for each color, which gives the print a rich applied water based color.
Size: The page measures 6 3/4 by 10 inches as seen in the pic.
Condition: The print is in very Good condition for its age, blank on the reverse, printed on a heavy page, basically as seen in the pic. There is overall tonal ageing with darkening around the edges, otherwise it is very clean and would frame up nicely. The pics are of the actual sheet.
