Description: It is an authentic Antique Map over 142 years old with original hand coloring as issued. It is from Mitchell's New General Atlas, published in Philadelphia by Augustus Mitchell, 1867, and also has a copyright date of 1867 along the bottom margin in small print that states "Entered according to an Act of Congress in the year 1867 by S. Augustus Mitchell in the Clerk's Office of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania." The map is not mounted, matted nor framed being sold as a single sheet as seen in the first pic. Overall, a Beautiful Map with Superb Color!
Size: The map image measures approximately 10 1/2 by 13 1/2 inches on a 12 by 15" page with a margin all around as seen in the pic.
Condition: It is in Very Good condition, basically as seen in the pics, with overall light tonal aging, blank on the reverse, printed on heavy paper with original hand coloring as issued. Other than a couple of minor spots around the margin, the map is very clean and would frame up nicely. The pics are of the actual map and accurate of condition and color.
