Title: Niewe Kaart Van Westelykste Deel der Weereld ... [New Map of the Western Hemisphere of the World]
Description: It is an authentic copper engraved antique map with embossed plate marks in the margin, printed on linen paper of the period. It is in its original uncolored state with multiple folds as issued. It is well documented in the title block which states that it is by the Dutch cartographer Isaak Tirion in Amsterdam, 1754, see the detail pic of the title block. It is not matted nor framed being sold as a single sheet as shown in the main pic.
Size: The map image measures approximately 13 by 14 inches on a 16 by 17" page with a wide margin all around for framing.
Condition: The map is in Very Good condition for its age with with some light browning as seen, not as noticeable as in the pic, one small spot in the title block and a couple of other minor specks, otherwise it is very clean and would frame up nicely. The pics are of the actual map.
