Description: It is an original engraved title page from the Chamber's Atlas over 140 years old. It from a circa1860 edition of Chambers's Atlas publishd by W. & R. Chambers, London & Edinburgh as stated in the bottom center. It was designed and engraved by J. Bower, Edinburgh, state in the bottom left margin. The vignette shows two muses flanked by views of London and Edinburgh, the two main UK publishing cities at the time.
Size: The map image measures approximately 8 1/2 by 10 1/4 inches on a 9 1/4 by 11 1/2" page.
Condition: The map is in Good condition with overall tonal aging. It is basically as seen in the pic with some minor smudges in the margin and light edge wear, a bent bottom corner. The pics are of the actual page.
