Description: It is an original antique copper engraved map from Allain Manesson Mallet's Art of War (Les Travaux de Mars ou L'Art de La Guerre) Published in Paris: Denys Thierry, 1684. The print is not mounted nor matted, being sold as a single sheet as seen in the first pic. The print has the diagram of a fort battlement with a view of a French village below. It is a very nice dark impression on a bright clean page. It is a real beautiful print, they don't get much better!
Size: The print image measures approximately 4 by 5 1/2 inches on a 5 1/2 by 7 3/4" page as seen in the pic. A wide margin all around for matting.
Condition: The print is in Very Good condition for its age with a nick out of the upper corner, otherwise is is very celan, a dark and even impression. The pics are very accurately of the actual condition.
