Description: It is an authentic engraved antique map from Woodbridge's Rudiments of Geography by William C. Woodbridge, 1821. The atlas title and the copyright date of 1821 appear on the map in the bottom margin. It is not matted nor framed being sold as a single sheet as shown in the main pic.
Size: The map image area measures 8 1/2 by 11 inches on a page measuring 9 1/2 by 12 1/4 with a margin all around.
Condition: The map is in Fair to Good condition for its age with overall tonal aging and a centerfold as issued, although the centerfold is pressed out and hardly noticeable. It is basically as seen in the pics with some light browning and slight edgewear. There is slight splits at the ends of the centerfold and a small hole along the fold in the Polar map. There is some glue residue and print on the reverse side from a page that was glued to the reverse, which we have removed to better preserve the map, otherwise it is very clean with a nice antique quality that would frame up well. The pics are of the actual map.
