Description: It is an authentic document as shown dated Dec. 1880 from the Bailey Law and Loan office in Peoria, Illinois for a Remittance Loan Note for Aetna Life Insurance Company. You can read all the details in the pic. It is not matted nor framed being sold as a single sheet as shown in the main pic.
Size: The note measures 5 1/2 by 8 3/4.
Condition: It is in Fair condition, basically as seen in the pic with a few short edge tears and some staining and folding along the bottom as seen. It was folded in two places and some soft creases, otherwise the paper is very pliable and non brittle. The pics are of the actual item.
