It's Monday morning and Takagi finds himself fully clothed in a strange hotel room with no recollection of how he got there. Slowly, he recalls what happened a day before - attending a funeral, dating but annoying his girlfriend, getting drunk in a pub and getting to know a yakuza and his beautiful mistress, having a gun in his hand, an incident of violence with a random couple on the street, and then... he inadvertently blows away the mobster, making him a marked man.
For anyone interested in contemporary Japanese filmmaking, this is simply unmissable. It's further proof that Sabu is one the best filmmakers working today.
