Fleeing from unseen enemies, a wounded samurai finds temporary sanctuary at a
mystical temple tucked deep in a remote region of the mountains.
The temple's host tells him the legend of a Japanese demon
that resides deep in the mountains and feasts on human flesh. The samurai soon
finds out that his host is this demon - Aragami.
Alive, yet unable to die, he
seeks an end to his own limitless and empty existence, a life without sleep,
dreams, or hope. Aragami wishes only to die in battle against a worthy
opponent.
The young samurai is challenged to a duel and the only way out is to kill Aragami... but will he truely be
