Description:

Wakai kizoku-tachi: 13-kaidan no Maki - Another great movie from the J.A.C (Japan Action Club). The term "action packed" has been overused ad nauseum, but it applies here in spades. There is barely a slow second in this action classic and it never once gets tedious to watch.

The story depicts the running battle between Maki and her girl gang as they butt heads with a powerful Yakuza gang. Along the way, Maki incurs the vengeance of a spoiled gang daughter she had previously humiliated and confronts her equal, an ex-boxer who turns out to be an honorable fighter.

Both characters go from foe to tenuous ally as the Yakuza Boss alternately dishonors them both. This makes for a great, twisty tale to go along with the almost constant karate confrontations.
