After two years of production this black-and-white documentary
by director Mitsuo Yanagimachi was completed in 1976 and follows the exploits of
a young Japanese motorbike gang, the Black Emperors. In the 1970's Japan saw the
rise of a motorcycling movement called the Bōsōzoku, which drew the interest of
the media.
The movie follows a member of the motorcycle club, and his
interaction with his parents after he gets in trouble with the
police.
