Brought to life through the intense drama and riotous comedy of Ninagawa Yukio’s lavish directorial rendering, the play combines the modern styles of both ‘Noh’ and ‘Kyogen'. The play is based on a popular 1930s novel that starts with a legendary duel between the swordsman Musashi and his archrival, Kojiro. This theatrical event features two of Japan’s best known and most talented young actors, Fujiwara Tatsuya as Musashi and Katsuji as Kojiro.
