20th century Japan.

she was a lightning rod for revolutionaries and other extremists, many of whom
were destined to glamorous, yet ultimately pointless, deaths.
Winner of the 1989 Award of the Japanese Academy for Best
Actress and Best Supporting Actress, nominated for 13 others including Best
