You are purchasing our Top #1 Quality Elk Leather for $5.25/square foot.  Elk leather is great for lots of uses, it is soft yet still very durable.  Leather thickness is measures in ounces, and our elk leather will average 4 to 4.5 ounces.  Elk is great for gloves, moccasins, vests, purses, bags, etc. really any application where you want a soft, but strong leather.  You must order at least 10 square feet.  If we do not have the exact square footage, we will send you slightly more than you have paid for.  Keep in mind that the average elk hide will be 23 square feet but most are 20 - 26 square feet with a few larger bulls that will go up to about 30 square feet, so if you are wanting 1 hide it would be best to order 20 - 26 square feet.  Our #1 elk hides have 95% or more usable leather, but they can still have holes, scars, blemishes and other defects in the hide.  We offer our elk leather in the following colors:  Saddle, Tobacco, Palomino, Black and Cream.  We also occasionally have elk hides in other colors - we also have gold, dark gold, teal, chocolate and white available right now in limited quantities so please check with us if you are interested in those colors.

To keep the shipping costs simple, please send $ .30 per square foot for shipping for the first 100 feet you order and $ .25 per square foot for everything over 100 square feet.
