Good Value For The Money, 

 

This was purchased to extend the range between buildings, both being turn-of-the-century plank houses. The antenna worked quite well within a 50' radius by placing it close to the outside wall facing the other building, but the signal dropped when going thru the third wall to the side porch. Outside the signal was as good as being close to the router itself.

But I consider this a sucess as the alternative was to install a very expensive outdoor repeater antenna. The antenna was hooked up to a Verizon wireless router with a single antenna. Out laptop had no external antenna so I had no way to compare it as a signal receiving device.

If you are intending on purchasing this for attachment to a Verizon router and you did not install it yourself, be sure and check to make sure it has an external antenna as the latest series of routers no longer have external antennas.
