One of the most exciting pieces from Le Creuset yet!! Please be advised that this color is NOT white. After taking a gazillion pictures of this ABSOLUTELY STUNNING Le Creuset petite casserole this is the best of them all and does not begin to interpret its wonder in person. You HAVE to see this color to appreciate it. It is an ideal size to present your creme brulee,molten chocolate cakes,dips,cheeses or salsas. It can easily be moved from oven to fridge or freezer to microwave and is dishwasher safe. It will never absorb odors or flavors so whether you are placing sweet or savory items it will not reflect its past contents. It is resistant to stains,chips or scratches due to its high quality craftmanship put into all Le Creuset product. So, yes, it is EXTREMELY functional but it would be one item to place behind a glass showcase as it is a show stopper!!
