Offering a great lot of vintage WWII V-Mails sent home by Soldier R. Crown to his mom and dad in Zanesville, OH.

- Some of these are from PFC Crown, some from CPL Crown...maybe he was promoted

- censor stamped
- great history of V-Mail on Wikipedia...here is a bit from that site:
"V-mail, short for Victory Mail, is a hybrid mail process used during the Second World War
in America as the primary and secure method to correspond with soldiers
stationed abroad. To reduce the logistics of transferring an original
letter across the military postal system, a V-mail letter would be censored, copied to film, and printed back to paper upon arrival at its destination." - please see all photos, they are part of the description
- look around our store for more great items:)

Policies:
All of my items are acquired at local
Estate Auctions and Thrift Stores, so they are used or vintage in nature. I usually don't
clean or launder any items, as each buyer/collector has their own methods of
doing so. While we are a non-smoking household, I have no way of knowing
about the habits of the former owner. We do have a cat, so you may not
want to bid if you are allergic:)
It is impossible to be an expert in
all areas of the many different items that I sell. I am honestly
representing the item to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please
read the description and examine the photos carefully. I try to describe the items accurately and provide the best
pictures I can. Asking questions prior to bidding is encouraged, as I
may inadvertently omit information that the buyer feels is very
important. I will issue refunds but shipping is not refundable unless I have misrepresented an item.
Ebay takes care of sending emails and invoices to buyers and sellers so rather than bombard my buyer
with additional emails, I don't send any directly unless needed. BUT, I
answer all messages as quick as I can, so feel free to message me with
any concerns or questions...I LOVE to get emails:)
