- some internet research turned up the following information:
Paul
Geissler: A German painter and etcher of landscapes and city
views, Paul Geissler studied art in Weimar under Max Thedy. For
most of his career, Geissler lived and worked in the city of Munich.
During
the 1920's and 1930's Paul Geissler's etchings reached an
international reputation. He etched views in France, Spain, Italy and
England and in 1929, he was commissioned by the city of New
York to depict some of the principal buildings in a series of
etchings. Examples of Paul Geissler's art are found in
permanent collections of major museums in Berlin, Vienna,
Manheim and Munich. - please see all photos, they are part of the description

Helpful Information:
All of my items are acquired at local
Estate Auctions and Thrift Stores, so they are used or vintage in nature. I usually don't
clean or launder any items, as each buyer/collector has their own methods of
doing so. While we are a non-smoking household, I have no way of knowing
about the habits of the former owner. We do have a cat.
It is impossible to be an expert in
all areas of the many different items that I sell. I am honestly
representing the item to the best of my knowledge and ability.
Ebay takes care of sending emails and invoices to buyers and sellers so rather than bombard my buyer
with additional emails, I don't send any directly unless needed. BUT, I
answer all messages as quick as I can, so feel free to message me with
any concerns or questions...I LOVE to get emails:)
