• metal is discolored and marred quite heavily, wood is distressed and scratched also
  
• side slats are wood colored but not wood and can be slipped out if you choose not to use them
  
• handle is square, turns easily and made of real wood...I think teak
• Legs are made of real wood...I believe teak or walnut.
  
• notice the leaves on each side?  be sure to notice they are heavily discolored
• label inside one of the fake wood slats reads, "Leedy Bros. Inc., Shreve, OH"

Helpful Information:

All of my items are acquired at local Estate Auctions and Thrift Stores, so they are used or vintage in nature. I usually don't clean or launder any items, as each buyer/collector has their own methods of doing so.

While we are a non-smoking household, I have no way of knowing about the habits of the former owner. We do have a cat.
