Offering an unusual estate Sea Shell.  I am not a collector or an expert, but I've never saw a shell like this one. 

At first I thought it had been hand painted but on closer inspection I believe this may have an imprint/fossil of a sea plant embedded in the shell itself. 

Judge for yourself... I tried to get a lot of pics from all angles.  Tried scratching the green off with my fingernail and it is not on the surface like paint would be.

• mostly white inside with just a faint pink tinge on the upper inside edge

• several of the points are broken and this has chipping around the edges.  The tail/point is broken
  
• perfect as a door stop in a nautical decor or makes a great aquarium feature
• NOTE:  the following measurements are approximate!!  I didn't realized how hard it is to measure a sea shell!!

All of my items are acquired at local Estate Auctions and Thrift Stores, so they are used or vintage in nature. I usually don't clean or launder any items, as each buyer/collector has their own methods of doing so.
