Offering an
unusual estate Sea Shell. I am not a collector or an expert, but I've
never saw a shell like this one.
At first I thought it had been hand
painted but on closer inspection I believe this may have an
imprint/fossil of a sea plant embedded in the shell itself.
Judge for
yourself... I tried to get a lot of pics from all angles. Tried
scratching the green off with my fingernail and it is not on the surface
like paint would be.
- weighs 9 ounces without packing or box
- I think this is what they call a queen conch
- mostly white inside with just a faint pink tinge on the upper inside edge
- please
see all the photos, I tried to get one from all angles and with
different lighting so you could better see details and wear
- several of the points are broken and this has chipping around the edges. The tail/point is broken
- perfect as a door stop in a nautical decor or makes a great aquarium feature
- NOTE: the following measurements are approximate!! I didn't realized how hard it is to measure a sea shell!!
- ABOUT 7" long, ABOUT 4" wide and ABOUT 3" high
- please see all photos, they are part of the description
- look around our store for more great items, we LOVE to combine shipping:)

Policies:
All of my items are acquired at local
Estate Auctions and Thrift Stores, so they are used or vintage in nature. I usually don't
clean or launder any items, as each buyer/collector has their own methods of
doing so.
While we are a non-smoking household, I have no way of knowing
about the habits of the former owner. We do have a cat
It is impossible to be an expert in
all areas of the many different items that I sell. I am honestly
representing the item to the best of my knowledge and ability.
Ebay takes care of sending emails and invoices to buyers and sellers so rather than bombard my buyer
with additional emails, I don't send any directly unless needed. BUT, I
answer all messages as quick as I can, so feel free to message me with
any concerns or questions...I LOVE to get emails:)
