Is this really a better grater?

Yes, a good quality ceramic grater is awesome.  Any one that has ever cooked with ginger knows how hard it is to cut, peel or grate.  It is hard and can be stringy.  This is the best grater we have ever used.  You won?t waste ginger.  You will enjoy using this. 

Grate chocolate or cheese and you won?t be wasting anything.  Just grate right on the plate and use the include brush to get it all.  If you have ever used the teeth style graters you know that you can lose a lot chocolate and it can rip up your hands tried to scrap it out.

What can I grate?

Hard cheese, ginger, garlic, nutmeg, chocolate, zest a lime.

How does it work?

• Take a piece of ginger and slide it back and forth across the teeth.  When you are finished, use the brush to slide it all off the plate.  Purees garlic & ginger like nothing else. 
• ·         Peel your garlic using the handy garlic peeler tube that is included.  Slide the garlic back and forth and you have grated garlic and all the juice.
• ·         Using hard chocolate, slide it back and forth.  Use the brush to get it all.  Perfect for decorating cake, or pastries.  Works perfect.
• ·         Take any hard cheese (like parmesan) and slide it across the teeth and you have fresh shredded cheese.
• ·         This is truly the best grater you will ever use.

What else can you do?

•  Because the plate is so pretty you can use it to serve.
• ·         Grate garlic, add a little oil and herbs, set it out for bread dipping.
• ·         Put the plate on the table with a piece of cheese and let everyone grate their own.

Do I need two?

You can use one for one thing and the other for another thing without having to clean it.
