OMEGA SOLID 18K GOLD CONSTELLATION 18562695 DATING TO A MANUFACTURE DATE OF AROUND 1961. THIS WATCH COMES WITH ALL PAPERWORK. IT HAS ITS ORIGINAL CERTIFICATE OF HIGH PRECISION WITH EMBOSSED SPECIALLY CERTIFIED CHRONOMETER LOZENGE. IT HAS ITS INTERNATIONAL GUARANTEE BOOKLET ( UNSTAMPED). IT EVEN HAS ITS ORIGINAL HANG TAG, WHICH HAS THE MOVEMENT NUMBER, CASE REFERENCE AND SERIAL NUMBER TO ONE SIDE, AND IS MARKED OMEGA TO THE OTHER SIDE. I HAVE NEVER SEEN ONE WITH SUCH COMPLETE PAPERWORK. THE SILVER PIE PAN DIAL IS DEFINITELY ORIGINAL, AND HAS SPECKLING/SPOTTING ACROSS IT. IT IS THE CROSS HAIR TYPE DIAL. THE CROWN IS CORRECT AND ORIGINAL AND IS THE OCTAGONAL TYPE. THE SOLID 18K GOLD CASE IS IN GOOD CONDITION. IT SHOULD BE NOTED THERE IS AN INSCRIPTION TO THE REVERSE. THIS INSCRIPTION WOULD INDICATE THIS WATCH WAS ORIGINALLY SOLD IN SOUTH AFRICA AND PRESENTED FOR 25 YEARS SERVICE WITH THE NATIVE RECRUITING CORPORATION. THIS ORGANISATION WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR RECRUITING PERSONNEL FOR THE GOLD MINES IN SOUTH AFRICA. WATCH MEASURES 34MM EXCLUDING CROWN. WATCH COMES WITH WHAT IS ALMOST CERTAINLY ITS ORIGINAL BUCKLE - GOLD PLATED. BUCKLE HAS A BIT OF WEAR TO REVERSE AND A MARK TO FRONT, BUT NOT NOTICEABLE. I HAVE RECENTLY PUT ON A MODERN GENUINE OMEGA LIZARD LEATHER BAND (EXPENSIVE). THIS LOOKS GREAT.
THE MOVEMENT HAS JUST BEEN SERVICED. MY WATCH MAKER DESCRIBED IT AS THE BEST CONDITION OMEGA MOVEMENT HE HAS EVER SEEN. IT LOOKS NEAR NEW. HE SAID HE COULDNT FIND WEAR ON IT. IT IS KEEPING VERY GOOD TIME. NICE TO FIND AN UNMOLESTED MOVEMENT LIKE THIS. I

We also do not guarantee the waterproofing of vintage watches, even if the watch itself states that it is waterproof, water resistant or water-tested.
Sometimes after air delivery (pressure, low temperature, vibration and etc.) watches may need extra adjustments. We don't think that sending your watch back to us for an adjustment right away is a good idea. It would be much better and cheaper for you to go to a local jewelry shop and make the adjustments.
