Item is the 1989 Eagle Premier sedan new vehicle brochure. A sort of left-over/carry over vehicle that was engineered and designed by Renault, but actually built originally by AMC in its only all-new assembly plant in Brampton, Ontario, Canada, the Premier was a quirky but roomy sedan that was carried over into Chrysler's Eagle-brand line-up.
Seems that part of the deal with Iaccoca was for Chrysler to sell a minimum of 60,000 units of this vehicle for the first five years after the merger of AMC into the automaker. While the car had its share of die-hard fanatics, it really never sold well.
Chrysler would try a few different variations -- (remember the Dodge Monaco of 1989-1992? yep, same car!) But in the end, the Premier/Monaco died a quiet but timely death.
The overall condition of the 21-page brochure is very good.
