Item is the 2003 Lincoln Aviator SUV new vehicle brochure. Well, it must of SOUNDED like a good ideal to Lincoln marketers -- develop a midsize SUV model below the large Navigator that offered potential Lincoln owners a smaller, but supposedly no less luxurious choice.
Problem with the concept was that they NEVER made the Aviator more than a rebadged Mountaineer... which in turn was a gussied-up Explorer. Worse, the Aviator and Mountaineer were often on the same sales floor -- ouch.
The 2003 model year was the first for the Aviator -- it would only be offered from 2003 through 2005. The oversized (12 x9 inch), 32-page brochure is classy, tasteful and informative.
The overall condition of the brochure is very good.
