This is the OFFICIAL house publication for the National Corvette Restorers Society (NCRS). Founded in 1974 by John Amgwert, Dick Campbell, Joe Chess, Tom Essig, Sam Folz, Jay Kellogg, and Gary Mortimer, The Corvette Restorer magazine is published quarterly by the NCRS. The magazine does not accept commercial advertising. The NCRS is not affiliated with Chevrolet or General Motors.
Membership in the NCRS is open to persons interested in the restoration, preservation, history and enjoyment of Corvettes produced by the Chevrolet Motor Division of General Motors Corporation from 1953 through 1982. Readers of The Corvette Restorer magazine receive it as part of their membership in the NCRS.
