Item is the 1981 Ford Escort Marketing Manual. Produced by the Training & Communications Department of the Ford Motor Company, this 73-page booklet introduces American Ford dealers to the automaker’s first attempt at a “world car”.
According to the enclosed letter from Louis E. Latif, then General Manager of the Ford Division, “This manual will help you better understand the entire Escort product story - from product features and benefits, ride and handling characteristics, quality/serviceability, to competitive advantages and sales strategies. Each chapter concludes with a “Key Selling Points” chart which summarizes the major points covered in that chapter.”
There is several pages of technical data at the end of the manual which includes dimensions and specification information.
This is NOT a reproduction or a reprint.
Although the overall condition of this catalog is good, there is a hole (cigarette burn?) on pages 4-5.
