Item is the Chevrolet Communication marketing materials - February 1965. A professional service for Chevrolet Retail Management, this monthly box of product training and sales aids was designed to introduce the Chevrolet dealership personnel to the 1965 Chevrolet product line-up.
The theme for the February 1965 kit was "Sell the service Route" - equipping the local Chevrolet dealership salesmen with the information needed to develop prospects and make the sale!. Chevrolet packed this box (measuring 16x11x2 ¼ inches) full of sales aids and materials. Chevrolet used a variety of unique media for sales aids. The contents includes:
1. Audio - Three (3) Vinyl 33 1/3 rpm (long play) records.
2. Four copies of the 10 x13 inch, 33-page booklet titled “Communication Central” that covers the actual sales techniques and vehicle delivery preparation needed by the dealership sales personnel. Produced by Chevrolet Retail Management, this was a monthly centralized source of ideas, techniques and Action Guides to strengthen the local dealership in sales and service through up-to-date in-dealership training.
3. Four (4) rolls of slide film to go with the record audio presentations - VERY RARE! (We usually have the records, but not the film..) this is a treat!
3. Miscellaneous small posters and sales aids that drive home this month’s subject.
This is a rare find! This is the real deal, not a reprint or reproduction. As a result, some of the materials show a bit of its 49 years. The overall condition of the box and contents is good for its age.
