Produced by the National Service Office of the Ford Division, this illustrated 14-page booklet describes tools and techniques that permit the Ford Service Technician to make in shop repairs of vinyl top roofs. Using the very simple tools and inexpensive materials described in the following pages, the technician can quickly restore vinyl tops with the following imperfections or damage to a like-new condition:

Scuffs or abrasions, cuts, bubbles, wrinkles, looseness, adhesive smears, and/ separated seams.

This handbooks explains how to make the repairs and how to determine whether to repair or replace the top. Also included are some tips on vinyl top replacement.
