Item is the 1993 Chrysler New Model Tech Information - Flex Fuel Vehicles. For the 1993 model year, 4,500 Dodge Spirit and Plymouth Acclaim models were built with the new Flexible Fueled Vehicle (FFV) 2.5L engine. This engine, based on the gasoline fueled 2.5L, was designed to run on a mixture of methanol and gasoline. Known as M85, this mixture is 85 percent methanol and 15 percent gasoline. This vehicle can be modified to operate on ethanol with only minor changes.
The information in the 10-page booklet will introduce the gasoline/ methanol mixture M85 as a vehicle fuel and identify the flex fuel engine and fuel system features.
