This is the 1994 AC Rochester New Product Information manual.  Prepared by the General Motors Service Technology Group, this 75-page publication provides information about the products manufactured by the AC Rochester Division for the 1994 model year.

 

The 1994 New Product Information manual is divided into the following sections: Section 1 – Passenger Car Applications and Section 2 – Truck and Multipurpose Passenger Vehicle (MPV) Applications.  Within each section, information applicable to a specific engine size, from smallest to largest displacement is presented first.  Information applicable to a specific body style is presented immediately following the engine related information.

 

Engines are identified by displacement in liters, configuration and number of cylinders, RPO code, and VIN code.  RPO is the acronym for Regular Production Option which defines the engine package.  VIN is the acronym for Vehicle Identification Number, an alpha-numeric identifier which defines the vehicle as built.  The eighth (8) number of the VIN defines the engine type.

 

Service Part Number Identification

Service part numbers are provided for those components and assemblies identified as serviceable.  Since these part numbers are subject to change, always refer to the latest AC-Delco parts manual for current part number information.
