Item is the 1953-1956 Ford Body Parts Catalog - September 1955 - ORIGINAL. Produced by Parts and Accessories Operations, Ford Division of the Ford Motor Company, this catalog includes body parts for Ford Division passenger cars and trucks. This also includes the Ford Thunderbird.
This Ford Body Parts Catalog has been prepared for ease in identifying and ordering the needed replacement parts. Group numbers with part name are in numerical sequence and are, in most cases, identical with the basic part number. The columns have been especially arranged to coincide with the normal procedure for selecting part numbers, for example: Column 1 - Year; Column 2 - Model; Column 3 - Description, size, etc.; Column 4 - Number required; Column 5 - Part number.
In addition, where parts are applicable to engines, the number of cylinders and cubic inch displacement have been included. Attaching parts such as bolts, screws, clamps, etc., are listed below the part with which they are used.
The driver’s side is the left hand side of the vehicle and governs such parts as fenders, lamps, etc., as to whether a part is right hand or left hand. A complete Group Index has been included I.e. Axles, Brakes, Engines, Transmissions, etc. and these are listed within their respective groups in alphabetical sequence.
