Item is the 1961 Chevrolet Passenger Car Shop Manual. Produced by the Chevrolet Motor Division of General Motors, this manual is designed to provide the service technician with complete information on the maintenance and repair of various units of the 1961 model Chevrolet Passenger Car.

An effort has been made to produce a manual that will not only service as a ready reference book for the experienced service technician, but also cover step-by-step procedure for the guidance of the less experienced technician.

The Section Index on the title page enable the user to quickly locate any desired section. At the beginning of each section is a Table of Contents, which gives the page number on which each major subject begins and an Index is placed at the beginning of each major subject within the section. This arrangement will make it easy for the service technician to locate the desired information.

Summaries of Special Tools are found at the end of each major section, while Specifications covering vehicle Components are presented in Section 16.
