Item is the 1965 Ford Truck Shop Manual – Volume 1 – 1st printing. Produced by the Service Department, Ford Division, Ford Motor Company, the information in this original used factory manual is designed to facilitate the proper servicing of the all 1965 model Ford Trucks (light/medium/heavy duty) with the exception of Econoline and Ranchero.
This is Volume One of a three volume set. Volume One covers the following: Vehicle Identification, Brakes, Suspension –Steering- Wheels & Tires, Rear Axle, Clutch – Driveline, Manual Transmission and Automatic Transmission.
The information is grouped according to the type of work being performed, such as diagnosis and testing, frequently performed adjustments and repairs, in-vehicle adjustments, overhaul, etc. Specifications, maintenance information and recommended special tools are included.
This manual was in use over the years by a local Ford dealership service department. As a result, it is a bit soiled, with light to moderate grime and dirt embedded on the outer cover as well as light to moderate wear on the binding.
The overall condition of this manual is good for its age.
