Note:
1. These are NOT ordinary
magnetized ball bearings. They are Neodymium based ceramic magnets (NdFeB)
coated with a thin metallic layer, and like all ceramics, are brittle and will
break if treated roughly. Excessive snapping may cause cracking. Keep away from
excessive moisture.
2. Not intended for children
under 12. May be hazardous if swallowed. Keep out of reach of small children and
pets.
3. The strong magnetic field
generated by these magnets (esp. open chains) may damage some electronics or
magnetically stored data. They should never be within range of credit cards,
floppy disks, CRT monitors, TVs or Hard Disks.
4. Try not to drop them. It is
virtually impossible to remove ferric dirt particles from super magnets, and
will quickly scratch & erode the poles. So tempting though it may be, do NOT
play with iron fillings!
5. The metal coating
WILL wear off over time, with use. This could be days, weeks, or months,
depending on usage.
6. As a good habit, compose
the magnets into a 6 layer hexagon for storage. The poles will mostly cancel and
the chance of magnetic interference is minimal.
7. There are literally
hundreds of amazing videos on YouTube of these magnets. Search for "NeoCube" or
"Nanodots". Keep in mind that some of the larger sculptures you'll see online
utilize more than the 216 included in this set.
8. Have fun! :)
