It has an alginate containing formula, indicated for use on chronic and acute wounds. Its multiple-occasion, single-patient use package helps eliminate waste. This hydrogel provides moisture to dry wounds and reduces dead space in cavity wounds. Directions Cleanse the wound with an appropriate wound cleansing solution. Apply a 1/8 to 1/4 inch layer of SĀF-Gel® Hydrating Dermal Wound Dressing to cover the entire wound surface. Cover with an appropriate secondary cover dressing. The dressing should be changed daily or when the wound begins to dry out. Ingredients Purified water USP, Propylene Glycol USP, Carbomer 940 NF, Triethanolamine, Boric Acid NF, Sodium/Calcium Alginate, Potassium Sorbate NF, DMDM Hydantoin and Sodium Carboxymethylcellulose USP.
