The Philips SA9200 has a 2GB capacity that allows for the storage of up to 1000 songs or 500 pictures. You can also listen to radio thanks to the built-in FM tuner. Utilizing Microsoft's Playforsure, the device will be compatible with most legitimate music download services. The navigation controls are backlit so you can see them in dark conditions. Overall playtime is 14 hours per charge and the device syncs and charges via USB.

The included FM tuner lets you tune into FCC-regulated terrestrial radio and the battery should last about 14 hours, which is more than generous. Also of note, especially for all those kids heading off to college in the next few months, is that the Philips includes a built-in voice recorder.
