Star Light Fairy
They tell me she's just dreaming;
Not to believe a word I hear.
They say, she's been in her own world
For nearly now a year.
She talks about the fairies,
How they live beneath the trees.
That she'll often go to visit
And sit with them upon the leaves.
The fairies catch her falling teardrops
And then turn them into rain.
The raindrops wash away her sorrows,
All her hurt and all her pain.
They will chat with her for hours,
As night time falls upon the trees.
Spinning magic, love and laughter
Into moonlight memories.
Are they factual or fiction?
Is she the only one to know?
If it makes her world a better place,
How can we not let her go?
Are the fairies like God's shining stars?
They appear then fade away
