• How can I make my batteries last?
  Though this phone has longer battery times then our Thunder or Voyager phone, it won't last forever. Modern cellphones use a lot of battery power because of issues like brightly lit touchscreens, WIFI, Bluetooth, and GPS. For the Metro, just make sure you have Bluetooth turned off when you're not using it, dim the backlighting a bit. Turn off vibration for incoming calls unless it's really important. Choose a short ring tone and you'll be able to go for long periods without charging. It fact, this phone has one of the best battery times we've seen in a long time.
• How many contacts can this phone store?
  The phone itself can store 1000 contacts. Each SIM card usually takes 250 contacts. In total you are looking at 1500 contacts. That's a lot of ex-girlfriends!
• Am I able to customize caller information?
  Yes, absolutely. This phone is better than most because it allows you to set a caller ringtone and caller picture.
• You mentioned that this phone can record calls, how?
  When you're connected with your caller, you'll notice that an OPTIONS menu appears on the lower left hand corner. Press it and you'll see SOUND RECORDER. Click on it and begin recording the conversation. It gets saved to file to be reviewed or used at any time.

  Empowered is the best word we can think of to describe the tactile sensation of holding the Metro in your hand. As cellphone aficionados, we test our fair share of phones for professional and personal reasons. For us, cellphones that have in the past provided exceptional feel in your hand quality has been any of the Nokia N series especially the N95. Going farther back, the Siemens S40 felt great to hold as well. We're not big fans on the iPhone though because it's too wide and too thin for our tastes. It feels like you're holding a calculator in your hands not a mobile phone! The Metro CVFD-M65 on the other hand is the epitome of a compact, yet powerful phone. Besides its swivel screen and QWERTY keyboard really put those brand name phones like the E63, N71, Blackberry, and Blueberry to shame.
• When I am entering the name of a new contact in my phonebook, what is the maximum number of characters I can use?
  You can enter a name that is 14 characters long.
• Help! I can't get Bluetooth working! What am I doing wrong?
  First, there are two places to access Bluetooth. One is in SETTINGS then USER PROFILES. Don't use that route. Instead click on the main menu icon called ORGANIZER, then EXTRA, then Bluetooth. You'll be able to toggle Bluetooth on and off, search and pair with active devices from there.
• What kind of operating system does this phone use?
  It's called Nucleus RTOS.
• How hackable is this phone?
  If you like to hack things, by that we mean squeeze more functionality out of a thing than was originally intended then this phone is for you. Keep in mind that any attempts to open up the phone, flash the firmware, basically mess with it, will void the warranty.
